Welcome to District 5970!
On behalf of 2014-15 Rotary International President Gary C.K. Huang, and his wife Corinna, I would like to welcome you to Rotary District 5970 – located in the northern half of Iowa, consisting of 54 clubs and nearly 2800 Rotarians. We are your community leaders, your neighbors, your friends – all united with a common goal: Service Above Self.
President Gary has chosen “Light Up Rotary” as our theme for the 2014-15 Rotary year. How you Light up Rotary is up to you. You know your strengths. You know your community and what your community needs. You know how you can help and light that spark as a Rotarian. Share your Rotary story – be flexible – and do what works for you and your club!
