ROTARY FOUNDATION ACADEMIC-YEAR AMBASSDORIAL
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION CHECKLIST
 
In order to ensure prompt processing of your scholarship applications, it is important to submit complete applications by the July 22, 2011 deadline. Please refer to the checklist below to help you in the process.
 
Ambassadorial Scholarship
 
___   Start by contacting your local Rotary Club for sponsorship and assistance.
 
___   Learn about Rotary - http://www.rotary.org then follow “Students and Youth” links.
 
___   Submit on a current application form (2012-2013).

___  Include the required essay, as outlined on page 2 of the application form (Be sure the essays are typed, statements labeled and your name and name of sponsor Rotary Club included in the upper right-hand corner).
 
___   Enclose two recommendation forms.
 
___   Include transcripts of all post-secondary, university, or college course work.
 
___   Signature of your Rotary Club’s president on the Rotary Club Endorsement page of the application.
 
___   List a sponsor counselor for the candidate and his/her information listed on the Rotary Club Endorsement page of the application.
 
___   Type everything and be sure the application looks neat and organized.
 
___ Keep a copy of application for your records.
 
___ Submit to your sponsoring Rotary Club on or before July 22, 2011.
