The New Hampton Rotary Club invites you to partner with them to supply much needed school supplies and personal items to the Children of the Dump in Nicaragua. “Shoeboxes” and lists of supplies are available from Suellen Kolbet at city hall. Fill a box and return to city hall by September 1. Now is the time to shop for on sale school items and summer clothes. Our goal is to send at least 100 shoeboxes and 5 layettes to children and mothers of Chinendega. We have boxes for a variety of ages and genders. They will be distributed at schools in schools founded for victims of Hurricane Mitch in villages built in part by Rotary clubs including New Hampton which has sponsored small homes and micro-farms for at least two families.
