District 5970 is seeking candidates for District Governor to serve during the 2024-2025 Rotary Year. The district governor serves in an official role as an officer of Rotary International and is charged with leading D-5970 during their term.
Qualifications include:
- Must have served a term as President of a Rotary Club
- Completed 7 years of Rotary membership prior to taking office
- Be a current member in good standing
- Good leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others
- Public speaking ability and the desire to promote the good work of Rotary on a local and international level
