I want to introduce myself to the district. I was raised in New Hampton in a farm family with nine children. I went to UNI and received a degree in business management. Joined the Decorah Rotary in 1985. Not retired yet, but I act like it. (still doing handyman work)
My goal for the year as District Governor is to continue to make your Rotary experience meaningful. I believe we all are wanting to make the world better at HOME AND INTERNATIONALLY. I believe that all of our district committee volunteers will continue to lead us to new heights of success.
On the personal side I have no agenda for myself only to help inspire everyone to achieve your goals.
Fun Facts, I have been married to Jacky for 25 years. I still call her Princess. I love to ride my bicycle. I enjoy hunting and fishing. Optimism is a strength and a weakness for me. I use the term "VALUE CONSCIOUS" alot. My hands will have blisters and calluses. Oh yes, I do enjoy beer after a hard day of work.
I am extremely excited to meet everyone of you and help you continue on your Rotary journey.
